Wellbeing Ambassadors Recruited!

Six Wellbeing Ambassadors have been recruited, three from Keele and three from Staffs, to run weekly wellbeing activities for students from across both universities. The ambassadors will work collaboratively with each other and teams across both universities to produce a programme of events for students to promote health and wellbeing. The ambassadors have also been trained to signpost students to the services that are available both at Keele and Staffordshire university and externally, as well as the promotion of self-help resources.

Already the ambassadors have created a series of infographics of ‘handy tips for new students’ which include ways to support students settle into their new flats, get to know the university and keep well. These will be shared via social media during Welcome Week.

This is a really exciting initiative and we’re looking forward to seeing what the team develop. If you have any ideas for wellbeing activities or want to get involved, please email info.starttosuccess@keele.ac.uk.

Further updates of activities will be shared via social media, as well as within the Start to Success monthly newsletter.
